Today, my Summer plans were SO-LI-DI-FIED! I babysit for two kids and every summer they go to Greece to visit their Fathers side of the family. Their Dad, Nikos, wants them to learn the language because he grew up there and it is, of course, a huge part of their life.
WELL WELL WELL
They invited me to go to Greece, just the kids and I, from the end of June through July. Then in August Nikos and his wife would come meet us and I would go home. The house is on the island of Chios. I am going to learn as much Greek as possible before I go and WASLKDFJAE WA WA WALABALOO I am sparkling with excitement.
In addition, Nikos asked me to sing at a few of his parents parties and their family friends local Tavern. So basically, I am watching two ADORABLE KIDS, SINGING and GOING TO GREECE FOR FREE (and getting paid while I'm there!) As an 18 year old, I couldn't have asked for a more exciting opportunity.

GOODMORNING WORLD!

I am new to this whole blogging phenomenon, BUT, nevertheless, I am very excited to start. Hope you likey
A little about me? Hm hm?
Well, I am 17 and a senior in High School. I am going to NYU Steinhardt next year to study Vocal Performance (with a concentration in both Music Theatre and Classical Performance), Psychology and Nutrition. I would certainly consider myself somewhat of a hippie. I'm all for positive energy, I'm a yogi (well, I love yoga...), I am a vegetarian and DEEEEM proud of it (shut up you dumb grumblers), and I'd say I'm a pretty free spirit. I am super duper pooper scooper energetic and playful. I like partying (moderately) and I love playing (on and off stage :)
Currently loving: SINGING (given.), Spongebob, Kittens, My boyfriend (on and off throughout High School...he's pretty much the shit), the Theatre Company at my school, Peanut Butter, Tea, My younger brother Noah (CRAZZZII!), My older brother Jesse (NAT CRAZZZIII!), MA Maja (she's good) and my Grandparentals on her side. I'm a goal setter and I find I am generally successful if I dedicate myself.
LA LA LA I love listening to music, reading, doing a lot of things I don't FULLY INTEND on listing at the current moment BUT pretty much I just define myself as a fun loving, super duper silly and wild crazy performer.
