The Calm Before the Storm (plus some lovely desserts!)

Hello Beautiful People!

After a crazy, mostly sleepless, highly stressful week, I decided it was necessary I took it easy this weekend (and was more than happy to!) I ended up making some DELICIOUS and AESTHETICALLY pleasing desserts along the way!

Friday

My teacher and director (Schrauf) slept over. He got out of school late (9ish?) and didn't want to have to drive all the way back to the city. I had the leads from Senior Musical come over and plewp with us (and Noah too...of course). The night ended up being super silly and kind of hysterical. Once everyone went home, Schrauf, Noah and I finished the night watching District 9. After about an hour or so, Schrauf passed out and Noah and I went to bed (it was around 3 or so). Definitely a successful night :)

Saturday

On Saturday, I spent most of the day getting a butt load of work done in order to save myself some stress this upcoming week. With Senior Musical dress rehearsals (and opening night Thurs) and my Internship at Quest Yoga Arts beginning, I figure I'm not going to have a ton of time or energy for homework. So...I woke up, worked out, did some work, took a walk, did some MORE work and then went over to a friend's to play and watch some planet earth BUT before I left home...

...I devoured a perfectly perfect Peanut Butter Chocolate Parfait!

(This is definitely one of my favorite desserts. It consists of my all time favorite chocolate and peanut butter combination PLUS it's low fat - for us diet crazy types. Let me know if you guys want me to post recipes! I'd be more than happy to share :)

Sunday

Today, I had Senior Musical rehearsal at ten. After that, my friend Christie and I took a walk which was loverly :) I got some more work done and played with Noah a bunch. After dinner, I got playful with desserts again and made a Choco Mint Surprise!

(I got a little picture happy I know :) But it was just so mmm mmm shnarky larky looking! The pieces on top are Mint Dark Chocolate. The Cool Whip Free is covering a VitaTop which is layered on top of sugar free Vanilla and Chocolate Pudding. If you pierce the VitaTop, the black and white pudding oozes through and waaaaaaaaaaaaa it's fun and beautious and delicious!)

Anyways, all in all, I had a dandy weekend. I will do my best to blog once or twice this week despite that hectic mania schedule of mine. I'm definitely going to start posting more pictures (of desserts and good outfits and noodly friends and beautiful scenery!)

Let me know watcha think!
Bye Bye kittens :)
